Currently we are seeking Planning Specialist role for Jakarta Office, Indonesia. The main role of this position is to provide supply planning processes within Orica according production plan and also making sure the implementation of safety and SOP implemented during the process.
This role will report directly to Lead - Planning and will be working on 5 days on and 2 days off roster.
Long Description Key AccountabilitiesCarries out daily priority planning of deliveries with transport operators from each supply site based on materials requirements planning (MRP) to customersExecutes daily scheduling and capacity confirmation between supply point and total outbound distributionPublishes and communicates the daily manufacturing and distribution plan, monitor and escalate any key failures with customer impactMaintains bulk material master settings by region for DRP processApplies best practice stock management principles for real time production posting and inventory movementsCommunicates and links market place activities with production priorities Ensures agreed DRP process is used effectively to develop and communicate a rolling bulk material plan to achieve required delivery dates to each destinationWhere demand and supply is out of balance, utilises effective load prioritisation in agreement with all stakeholdersWorks with business and customers to improve field â€œpullâ€ forecast / order reliability on a weekly and daily basisContributes to the effective introduction of new supply chain systems as they developCollates all bulk material requirements for export, ex gate sales and field requirements into a weekly supply plan by production siteEffectively captures and communicates delivery and manufacturing data to key stakeholders as requiredImplement master production schedule weekly and control the daily MRP and DRP processes What you bring Footer The opportunities, facilities and environment associated with working in an international organisation;
